New to our Vista office?
Start with a conversation.
Leave with a clearer plan.
Your first visit is a chance to tell us what matters to you, ask questions, and understand your dental care options.
What your appointment includes
Your initial appointment usually includes an examination and a review of treatment options. Your dentist may recommend X-rays to better understand your needs. Treatment timing depends on the findings, your medical history, and appointment availability; some care requires a separate visit.
Before you come in
- Bring your insurance details, if you have coverage.
- Prepare a current medication list and tell us about relevant medical conditions.
- Ask your previous dental office to forward recent X-rays, or call us to discuss how to transfer them.
- Bring any questions or concerns about your teeth or previous dental experiences.
Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please alert the office about any medical conditions or medications that could affect your care.
Feeling anxious?
You don’t need to hide it. Tell us what makes dental visits difficult so we can discuss comfort options and what to expect. We’ll explain recommendations and make space for your questions.
If you’re in pain today
Call rather than waiting for a routine appointment. We can usually see new emergency patients the same day during normal office hours, subject to availability. Read about emergency visits.
