Dental restoration care
Protect your investment in dental care.
Restorations need daily care and follow-up, just like natural teeth.
Watch for changes
Tell your dentist about a loose crown, a broken filling, sensitivity, grinding, or a bite that feels different. An examination can identify whether repair, adjustment, replacement, or another approach is appropriate.
Grinding and clenching
Repeated chewing forces can affect teeth and restorations. A custom night guard may be recommended for selected patients, but it does not guarantee that damage will never occur.
Keep up daily maintenance
Brush with fluoride toothpaste, clean between teeth, and follow instructions for implants, bridges, and dentures. Avoid chewing ice and using teeth to open packaging.
