Santa Fe Dental Group supports Vista’s inaugural Fiestas Patrias celebration.
The practice sponsored the first Fiestas Patrias Vista celebration, honoring Hispanic heritage and bringing neighbors together through music, dance, and civic participation.
A celebration of local community
The event was organized by the Vista Chamber of Commerce and its Latino Business Outreach Committee. The original announcement described a Grito de Independencia led by Fernando Aréchiga of the Mexican Consulate and attendance by Vista Mayor John Franklin and Assemblywoman Laurie Davies.
Music and cultural traditions
Performances included Mariachi Olmos, Tierra Caliente Academy, and local Ballet Folklorico groups. Residents gathered for live music, traditional food, and educational exhibits recognizing Latin American heritage.
