Sedation dentistry.

Anxiety deserves a conversation before treatment. Let us know what worries you and what has helped during earlier visits.

Different methods, different requirements

Nitrous oxide is inhaled through a mask. Oral sedation uses a prescribed medicine. Other sedation methods have different monitoring and recovery requirements. Ask which methods are suitable and currently available for your procedure.

Your health history matters

Share medicines, allergies, pregnancy, sleep apnea, breathing conditions, and past anesthesia experiences. Your clinician assesses risks and explains consent and preparation. Sedation is not appropriate for everyone.

Plan ahead

Follow the instructions for eating, drinking, transport, and supervision exactly. Do not assume you can drive afterward. Comfort options do not replace local anesthesia when it is needed.
